Mrs Pearlie Dobbins visited relatives and friends last week in Warren. Her sister, Mrs Vinnie Lagan, who has had a long spell of illness, is much improved .....
Mrs. Ida Beavers is improving from a severe illness..... Rosie Lee Dobbins, Josephine O'Hara and several others who are attending school at AM&N College spent the holidays at home with their parents and friends.... Mrs M. B. Green who has been in the hospital in Little Rock has returned home but is yet on the sick list... Mrs Latonia Robinson who has been in Little Rock was home for the holidays...
Mrs. C. S. Smith visited her nephew in Memphis during the holidays.

Mrs. Pearl Oakley, agent for the Williams’ Burial association, attended an agency getting held in Fordyce on the 17th. She was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Alie Watkins and Lucious Smith.
Rev. and Mrs. Albright are very lonely for his home in Memphis…
Mrs. Irene Anderson is in the hospital in Little Rock, where she has undergone an operation, and is reported doing fine….
Tom Oakley is yet on the sick list and is reported improving gradually…
Rev. Williams, paster First Baptist church, was accompanied to a singing convention in Camden last Sunday evening by Mesdames Laura Smith, Pearlie Dobbins, Latonia Robinson, Vela Mae Westbrooks and Johnie Mae Westbrooks and Johnnie Mae Ohair…
Mrs. Willie Hill visited her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Oakley, Sr., Sunday evening …
Mrs. Evelyn Green and granddaughter, Kathelen are back from Rockford, Ill…
Marshall Hogans made a flying trip from Michigan to Arkansas on special business, where his daughter, Dora Jene will attend social.
