John Henry Westbrook was born on 17 August 1918 in Carthage, Dallas County, Arkansas to Fred, Sr. and Eldora "Dora" Westbrook. John married my great aunt Corrine Smith on 12 March 1939 in Carthage, Arkansas; and they had one son. John and Corina moved to Richmond, California during World War II; where John worked at the Kaiser Shipyards as a Welder. John died on 1 July 1998 in Pittsburg, Contra Costa County, California. John is buried in Sunrise Cemetery, along with his wife
Corine.
